At the same time Mya Audrey listened to and loved Popmusic already from early childhood. Songwriter and Bands like Joni Mitchell, Sting, U2, Sheryl Crow, Rickie Lee Jones, Jewel or Carole King have sharpened her understanding for text and defined her flair for melodies. “I prefer songwriter from the “bright edge”, those who don’t pull you down and soak you with melancholy” states the graceful person with the great, warmhearted voice. The certain trace of melancholy in her songs is due to her preference of minor instead of major key in her compositions.
