Since her pre-teen days her musical influences have been anything from jazz, smooth jazz, pop/rock to reggae.
At the age of 18, Carita works as a fashion model for three years, but decides to leave the fashion world in order to invest herself completely in music.
She starts her singing career by performing as a jazz singer in several European clubs.
In 2006, Carita changes her musical direction from jazz to pop. Beginning 2008, she releases the pop single "my butterfly" followed by the album "my life" signed under the Ghost L.A. label.
